Mr. Clas Neumann, Senior Vice President, Head of Global SAP Labs Network, Head of Fast Growth Market Strategy Group at SAP, Dr. Li Ruicheng, Senior Vice President, President of SAP Labs China and Ms. Xie Yanqi, Vice President of SAP Greater China, Manager of Strategic Business Development Thought Leader | Chinese Government Relations Management led a 14-person delegation to visit the Fraunhofer Project Center for Smart Manufacturing at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on September 8th, 2020. Prof. Wang Hao and the teachers, students, and staffs of FPCSM gave a warm reception.

The SAP delegation visited the demonstration of the latest technological achievements and enterprise application projects in the industrial Internet of thing platform, artificial intelligence technology, cyber physical system, real-time digital twin system, reconfiguration manufacturing system, and human-machine collaborative robots and listened to Professor Wang Hao's detailed introduction of the cooperation between Fraunhofer and Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the situation of international exchanges and cooperation with Germany.

          

Afterwards, the SAP delegation had a discussion with the Project Center and had detailed and in-depth exchanges on the cooperation between the two parties. Dr. Li Ruicheng expressed his hope to have in-depth cooperation with the Project Center in the field of industrial Internet of thing, and the two parties agreed to jointly form a win-win industrial Internet of thing industry ecological chain. Ms. Xie Yanqi asked in detail about the operation of the Fraunhofer Project Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Lin-gang Special Area and the cooperation with German-funded enterprises in China. Mr. Neumann and other guests from SAP and Prof. Wang conducted in-depth discussions on digital twin technology, and the two parties agreed to carry out in-depth cooperation in the implementation of digital twin technology and enterprise applications.
