The main research fields of the Project Center include Cyber Physical System, Real-Time Digital Twin System, Intelligent Interactive assembly, Human-Machine Collaborative Robots, and Reconfiguration Manufacturing SystemFocusing on Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing technology, a future-oriented production demonstration line has been built in the Lin-gang Special Area, which can fully embody the highest leve of the smart manufacturing elements.

1) Cyber Physical System

Cyber Physical System is the overall technology and integration technology of smart manufacturing, which is the cross-era symbol of smart manufacturing relative to the traditional enterprise information technology. The research contents mainly include the manufacturing application cloud platform based on service-oriented architecture, cloud platform interface technology, edge computing technology and cloud platform communication standard technology.


2) Real-Time Digital Twin System

Digital Twin technology is the key technology of real-time state perception in factory workshop. The core of digital twin system is to track the manufacturing state of factory and workshop in real time. The research contents mainly include real-time online mapping of virtual space model, real-time data acquisition and processing, real-time augmented reality technology based on measured data, etc.    


3) Intellient Interactive Assembly

Intelligent Interactive Assembly is of great significance and practical value for complex product assembly guidance, training, and field personnel operation records, which embodies the concept of artificial intelligence serves human beings. The research contents include real-time tracking and detection of space objects' positions and postures, real-time dynamic monitoring and analysis of personnel assembly operations, smart data glove and force feedback interactive operating system, and fast 3D reconstruction and display based on naked-eye 3D visual effects.


4) Reconfiguration Manufacturing System

Reconfiguration Manufacturing System is also called variable topology manufacturing system, which can realize automatic production line reorganization according to the requirements of personalized customization of products without intervention, which can reduce production costs. The main research contents include customized smart assembly line topology change design, control software topology change design, real-time collection and analysis of assembly process operation data and informatization of product quality inspection data.


5) Human-Machine Collaborative Robots

This research field studies the robot structure adapted to complex tasks and dynamic environment, the active perception and natural interaction of human-robot shared environment, and the models and methods of multi-robot cooperative cognition and manufacturing, and finally forms a human-machine integration and multi-machine cooperative smart manufacturing system that works harmoniously with people, highly adapts to the environment and works cooperatively with robots.
